Comment Soapbox (or Simply Because It’s My Site!)

So I made a few changes to the site the other day because my attention had been drawn to the fact that my first officially published story hadn’t been added to let people know that they can check it out. (See the Books link above.) Today, I checked in so that I could grab some information for my Amazon Author Page to work on setting it up.

I always check my comment spam queue when I log onto my site just to make sure something hasn’t been improperly flagged. Lo and behold, I discovered something like 14 comments waiting in the spam queue. This isn’t usual for me, so I figured I’d investigate further.

Most of them, I noticed to indeed be garbage. There were a few that seemed to say some nice things, but since the websites didn’t seem to match the comment content, I deleted them.

The upshot is that if you did indeed leave a not-spam comment, and I deleted it, I apologize. Please feel free to contact me and let me know. I’ll try to fix what I can and watch out for you in the future.
